The shadow of my breast implant?

by imnyc, Nov 11, 2009 02:27AM
Hi Dr. Rosenberg,

Part of my crease scarfrom my breast augmentation has turned grey after 6.5 months... Could this be the shadow of my implant and that the implant and capsule are just right underneath the scar?  Is my implant pushing through?  Please help.  My PS is in denial everytime there is a problem until it is too late... I would appreciate an objective opinion...

Thank you

In truth, there is no way to determine exactly what is happening without a direct examination.  Change in color of the scar does not necessarily imply some impeding disaster.  If you lack confidence in your surgeon, an examination by another plastic surgeon may be in order.
