What can be done to fix this?

by shorty2323, Oct 20, 2009 08:41PM
My daughter at age six was attacked by a dog, her right cheek was ripped back, her right corner of her lip was ripped also. Racing her to Anchorage emergency plastic surgery was preformed, resulting in a stitch scar in her right corner of her mouth, it only scarred the lip, not the cheek. She hates it, and we want to get it fixed, any opinions on what some options would be please?

It is not possible to comment about the success of any surgical revision to her scar without a direct examination.  Other options such as steroid injections will probably be les successful.  Have her seen by a local plastic surgeon for evaluation.
