Columella Show the amount of the nostril partition that may be seen on the side view, ideally no more than 3-5 mm. A hanging columella means excessive columellar show, i.e, the nosstril partition seems to be greater than 3-5 mm which eventually lead to a bad shape of face.

A rhinoplasty surgery will be useful to get it corrected.

Regards.

Hi,

This problem can occur to anyone. This can be due to an accident or malnutrition in childhood. Well now its not such a significant issue as Rhinoplasty Surgery can remove it in no time.

There are lots of Board Certified Plastic Surgeon around. Always go for such a surgeon to whom you can visit easily.

Thanks
