big breasts/surgery

I am going to have a breast lift because I have breasts that are 44DD at age 10 I was 36 C so I got big fast the problem is the anesthesia part they want to do general and the last time they put me under they had a hard time waking me up it was 4 hours later from surgery they had to give me oxygen at 15 liters to try and bring me out of it .I don't want to go threw the same experience like that again would they consider doing surgery have away and half asleep.any suggestions would help.plus I have alot of lung problems too.
