big knee (bone)

hi im 17 years old girl who have big knees (the kneebones are large) because of that i have very low confident, im always inside when its summer cause i dont want to wear short shorts and if i dont wear short skirts or shorts it gets very warm, im ashamed of showing myself in bikini or clothes that show my big knees so i always wear baggy jeans. I wonder if there is a surgery were they cut the kneebone or if a knee replacement is my solution (replace to a smaller knee)?
I live in europe by the way, so if im going to do a surgery it must be in europe.

There is no surgery to make your knees smaller. Most of the time what we think of as something bad about our bodies, most other people don't even notice at all. My right thigh is smaller than my left one after I had surgery a few years ago and I become very self-conscious about, thinking everyone would think I am ugly or think of it as weird. But really no one even noticed. I walked around in a bikini and people told me I looked cute, beautiful, etc. with no remarks about my thigh. Next summer, you should wear shorts because I doubt a soul will even say a word to you about your knees. Your knees to many great things for you, like allowing you to move with ease, to kneel down, to crouch down, etc. Be thankful for good strong knees.
