breast augmentation and taking valporic acid

i'm fed up with everyone treatin me different as soon as they find out your on meds.
and i dont want t tell my surgeon/group but i want to stay safe.

what is a safe break from valporic acid before the risk of an attack(mentally) ive good for a 10months since on meds.

considering surgery for next year

Please do tell the surgeon/group that you are going to use all of the medications you are on, because if something goes wrong, they need to know what you are taking. I hope you are looking for any warning signs while using this medication, as it can have serious side effects. It's quite an extreme medication to be on. Because this medication can reduce the number of clot forming cells, it would be dangerous to have surgery while on this medication. Talk to your doctor about switching medications to something else. Don't just stop taking the medication. Then ask what would be best for you to do when you have surgery later on down the road... good luck.
