breast reconstruction using liposuction

I had a lumpectomy 2 years ago followed by chemo and radiotherapy. I have been accepted for breast reconstruction. The procedure will be liposuction transferring my own body fat to the problem area of my breast. How exactly does this work? and how successful is this type of procedure,
