excessive hair growth

excessive hair growth

Im a 24 year old, healthy and very active. I have always been a little hairy for a girl but as years went on it seemed to have gotten a lot worse. I have excessive hair growth on my neck and face. Ive tried everything from bleaching, tweazing, shaving ect. ive even tried electrocsis but no luck at all. I dont understand how specialist have been able to grow hair but not stop it.

Has anyone heard of any other methods, im getting very self conscious about this and its starting to run my life. If I knew of anyother methods I would be more than happy to try them. Help anyone!

Try laser hair removal. Between 5-7 sessions. Good luck

that is your best bet to prevent regrowth but what u can do til then is bleach or wax - waxing can scar the follicle and eventually after months stop hair growth (dont count on it) and will prevent the hair from growing back thicker which is what shaving does

I recommend getting your hormone lvls tested.  I have developed the same thing and after many many tests it was discovered that I have a hormonal imbalance.  PCOS can also give you the same symptoms.  Seriously consider seeing a doc about it, if it is a hormone issue and the dr can correct it, the hair removal wont be an issue.  Sometimes it is better to address the reason for a condition, rather than a symptom.  As far as what to do in the mean time, I use nair and Nadz.  Seems to help, but its alot of upkeep.
