fat or loose skin?

after having two kids my middriff just isn't the same.  i would like to know if it is just fat or is it loose skin? and if there is anyway i can get rid of this.  i get so embarassed even baring it in the house with my husband.

please just look at the pictures that i've linked, i would like an honest opinion.  thank you.

Much of it is probably fat, unfortunately.  Though some of it may be loose skin.  Give it at least 1-2 yrs to retract.  If it doesnt retract by then, your most permanent solution is a tummy tuck/abdominoplasty.  Though if you plan on having more children you might want to wait until after that.  I have had 4 pregnancies/5children and my belly looks similar.  I have lost much of the weight, so my belly looks like a wrinkle behind...complete with a "crack" down the middle.  My youngest is only 11months, so i am going to give it another year to see if it improves at all.  Best of luck!

I think your problem is mostly loo buse excess skin from your pregnancies.  I had the exact problem with a hernia after my first pregnancy but thought it was fat and no chance of getting rid of it.  Well my second(last) child just turned one and about 7 months ago I finally decided this couldn't be just fat.  Long story short I had to have a hernia repair and a penniculetomy(removal of excess skin).  My stomach looks 100 times better.
