When I was 16 I had surgery to remove the fat in my pecs. I was told that I would look normal again in about 6 months. I am now 24 years old and still look terrible. My pecs are caved in and my nipples are creased and folded over. They're not circular anymore and I'm extremely embarassed. I live in Phoenix and it gets hot and I can't swim with friends, change in front of ANYONE and won't let anyone get too close to me. I've put on a little weight and would love to join a gym but would never be able to take my shirt off or wear anything too fitted. Would pec implants make my nipples pop back out and make my chest look like a normal man's chest again or is there more that needs to be done?

It sounds like you have had over-resection of breast tissue and the underlying scarring from surgery resulted in retraction and folding of the nipple. You clearly need to be seen by a plastic surgeon to evaluate your situation and for consideration of surgical revision. I doubt that pectoral implants would be the best solution, but possibly underlying scar revision and even fat injections to even out the area should be considered.

Is there a certain type of plastic surgeon I need to see for this or just any plastic surgeon? I'm new to the whole plastic surgery world.
