help for scarred lip

about 18 months ago i was kicked in the face repeatedly by a punk in berlin. i did not receive any medical care at the time...i had a huge split down the middle of my lip which has healed leaving several fine white scars around my lower lip as well as a patch of lumpy scar tissue on the inside of my lip. i am wondering if there are any natural or over the counter remedies that might help. plastic surgery is at the moment not an option for me because of financial reasons. i am a woman in her mid-30's and am having a hard time carrying such an obvious scar.
