mini tummy tuck

by mmfd, Oct 19, 2006 12:00AM
Anyone here ever had a mini tummy tuck??  I am thinking of going for a consult.  How was the recovery period and about how much did it cost?  I don't think I need the whole tummy tuck and could just get by with the mini.  Do the results last as long as you don't gain weight?  Thanks in advance!

Had a full tummy tuck as part of breast reconstruction after a mastectomy last year.  The whole nine yards is uncomfortable for awhile but my incision is more extensive than yours would be.  I wouldn't call it painful as much as uncomfortable.  You don't want to gain weight after the proceedure as it feels very weird---pulls a lot.  It's my canary in the mine as far as weight gain goes---2 pounds sets it off!
