I had otoplasty done 3 years ago and the back of my left ear would itch terribly from time to time. Now I can clearly see 2 very dark spots in the incision area that look like stitches trying to come out.  Should I leave it alone or try to pull them out?

You should be evlauated by a plastic surgeon.  If the suturesare are becomeing exposed, they may be difficult for you to remove.  If left exposed and in plaace, you may be prone to a foreign body infection in that area.
