port wine stain on whole left thigh

i have had a port wine stain on my left thigh since i was born.. i never am able to wear skirts or shorts or go swimming without being really embarressed! i am gettin laser treatment on it at thie minute for the past year and it doesnt seem to work! iv heard theres a makeup that covers them up and lasts up to a year? do u no if it works and if im wearing it can i still get laser treatment on it?

It depends what laser is being used. Cutera 1064 Nd YAG is an excellent laser for port wine stains. You cannot use makeup on the stain and get laser because the laser is targeting the hemoglobin in the stain. No laser will make the port wine stain disappear completely, but significant improvement can be achieved.
