My 15 year old son has suffered for the last 2 and a half years with chronic fatigue and other strange symptoms and we have under gone all kinds of testing and have no answers

My son who is now 15 has been suffereing for 2 and a half years with chronic fatigue. He went to summer camp two years ago and came back sick. He who always woke up early and was bounding with energy was so tired and we took him to the Dr. who ran some blood work and said he had mono.

We kept him out of sports for that next school year he appeared to be recovered and when he started school the next fall and started playing sports he seemed to relapse. He was tired out easily but kept on pushing himself. Then at the start of the summer of 2008 he was becoming increasingly worse. His color was a green/ gray.  He was playing tennis one day and passed out cold on the court for a few seconds regained conciousness then passed out again for a few seconds. I then took him to my primary physician she ran some blood work which showed every thing normal, she sent us for MRI, cat scan, pulmonary tests,to see a neurologist,a pediatric heart doctor nothing showed up. Also an EEG was done one showed some innormalities, another one was done and it showed nothing wrong.

We have no answers my son is still extreemely fatigued upon any exertion and is becoming depressed.

please if any one has any ideas or suggestions we would appreciate any help.

Thank You,

Jody Young
