100% Colon removed, recovery slow and hard

I am a 62 years old female. I have Crohn's/Colitous, COPD and had 100% of my colon , appendix, spleen, and rectum removed in April 15,2008. I am having depressen issues due to pain in the area of the removed colon, incontenence, and burning in my bladder and urenation tube. My surgeon says the healing from his operations looks as expected and some of this pain and burning can be expected as he reduces my steroid intake. Can anyone share an issue similar to mine and/or give some advise?
When I sit , I feel I am setting on something and this causes me to urinate a little. Have had some tests by my urologists, but have not found any problems other than a staff infection in my urine, and an extremly high white blood cout. These issues were addressed as results from sterods, and contamination in the uren sample. Any comments?
