My sons sx are very bad stomach pains has has blood in urine like tiny little clots and alot of blood in his stool, would either diseases cause blood like that? We are waiting to see a specialist.

The short answer is yes - both Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis can present with abominal pain, blood in the stool and usually, watery faeces. He will need to see a gastroenterologist and have a colonoscopy with biopsies of the mucosal lining to determine exactly what is wrong with him. I don't know anything about blood in his urine, but would mention it when you see the gastro.
Liz.
