Acne & meds?

Hi everyone,
first of all : i have an idetermined ibd. i was on prednisone a few months ago. which i absolutly hate this med!! i was also put on immuran to absorb the pred. they kept me on the immuran.

But i am still suffering from the acne from the prednisone it hurts and its really embarrasing. i cannot take it anymore i dont know what to do and im not even sure what exactly is causing it . the skin on my face is very sensitive and very dry , but also shiny and oily at the same time.

what also could be causiong it , is that i was on acne meds ( diane35) ( which also regulated my period) and my mother decided to take me off these meds because i was taking so many pills, and this one was unnessary.she also says that it may have caused my ibd( which is probably not true!)

so i would like to knwo if you guys have any tips. or any med for acne that i could talk to my doctor about.( and no , i am nvr taking accutane!)

For me when I have a flare-up (Crohn's) I usually get sores like what you are talking about.(They are VERY painful) My GI doc actually saw them and had me see a dermatologist THAT SAME HOUR!!!!!!! The dermatologist examined me and all of the sores and said it was dinfinitely from the Crohn's flare-up and put me on a anti-biotic Monodox 75mg twice a day. He also said that there was no wash that would take care of this.
