Anyone Try a home remede

Looking for someone that has tried something other then Doctors Pills???

I read and heard that using marijuana might help with uc  but haven't tried it myself yet but i am about to soon as i have tried everything else and don't want to have surgery but that might help. i know it will relieve stress and relax you that's for sure so just that in itself might be helpfull.

nickbob, you might want to find a good naturopath or nutritionist to help you find a diet that would help you feel better.
I went to a natural health food store and bought some books, vitamins and supplements to help me. Check out your local health food store and see what they have to offer. They should have someone there who can help you.
Just a few suggestions that you might want to try:
Fish oil, it helps coat and soothe the colon
Get a good probiotic enzyme to help digest food
Avoid foods that may cause trouble, like spicy, fried, fatty or heavy meals.
Go light and try a low-residue diet.
Try liquid vitamins and minerals instead of pills. Your body can process liquid better than pills, important for people with digestive diseases.

I hope some of that will help. Just experiment and read everything you can. That's what I've been trying to do! Best wishes to you.
