Bowel disorder

I started with a sudden pain in my right side by my appendix about 3 months ago. I went to the doctor as i had severe diarreha every day for 9 weeks, not only that but the pain by my appendix is still there today, i have had a colonoscopy and small barium xray and am due a cat scan. I have mucus in my stools which sometimes is alot, i feel sick alot of the time and it has now turned into severe constipation, i feel very tired and ratty all the time and have no ideas what it is and neiher does the doctors so far. the colonscopy was inconclusive as the pain was to much to bear. i do not have cramping when needing the toilet, also i have tried varied diets which include, no cheese, no fizzy drinks, no chocolate. does anybody have any ideas of what it might be????????????

You should go to a gastroenterolgist.  Your symptoms sound a lot like chrons in the small intestine.  There is a genetic test, if all the other tests are inconclusive.  Ask the GI dr about this.
