was 13.9 (range 4 - 11 10**9/L) with high neutrophils at 11.26(1.8 - 7), normal lymphocytes at 1.67 (1 - 3.2), high monocytes at 0.97 (0 - .8) and eosinophils at .14 (0 - .4) and 0 basophils. These results were on april 23. I went back to the walk in with the bloody
at 14.4 (4-11). Neutrophils went down slightly to 10.51 (1.8 - 7) but were still high. Lymphocytes raised to 2.59 (1 - 3.20) although still normal and monocytes increased to 1.01 (0 - .8) and eosinophils raised to 0.29 (0 - .4) with 0 basophils again. So the doctor said it is most likely a bacterial infection, but my lymphocytes did increase from april 23 - may 3rd, is this a normal response to bacteria over a long infection? My aunt thinks it is probably e coli and the bloody
diarrhea will go away within 5 days of it starting (it has since become regular stool but still with blood). Could this be a parasite possibly? or viral?(due to lymphocytes increasing but still being normal?
I feel normal for the most part the past few days. Im scheduled for an ultrasound in a week, and doctor might get to to do a colonoscopy too. Would they be looking for cancer in those tests? My abdomen is being ultrasounded, thats where it hurt when doctor applied pressure. What do you think my blood says along with the scheduled tests?I get the stool sample results tomorrow. I hope its just a bacterial infection, rather it not be crohns or collitis or worse. Blood has subsided in the last few days, ive been eating a ton, feel ok. I seem to have a rash on my chest but its hard to tell with my acne (im 20). I see some white bumps along with some redness on my neck area. No fever through any of this.
