Crohn's Disease ?

My wife has been going through  a 3-4 day abdominal Pain cycle for the last six months. She has
seen a urologist 3x and a gynocologist 2x. Both MD's have told her it's not a problem in their
speciality. I felt she should have been refered to a gastroentologist for further examination, but
she is sent home with a vicodin prescription. Should we insist on a referral?

Yes - a very definite yes, since urological and gynaecological issues have been ruled out. Vicodin although maybe giving pain relief, is masking the underlying problem, which needs proper diagnosis and treatment.
