Crohns and B12 defiency

I have had Crohns for about 20 years. Last summer I had surgery to remove scar tissue in the colon. My GI said I wouldn't need to take extra B12, but I am having tingling in my hands and feet.  I have symptoms of nevousness.  Is this a B12 defiency?

Have you tried the B-12 that goes under your tounge. I also have  Crohn's for 20+ years. Also are you getting a shoy once a month ? You can do it at home yourself the Doctor can write a scrip and you can do it I was doing it 4 times a month rather than once a month. I was only using the amount for a month but I quatered it. I seamed to feel better that way. Never hurt to ask or try.                                          Nona
