Crohns or nausea?

Crohns or nausea?

My brother has Crohns disease, and so I have been increasingly paranoid about getting it myself. I live a very active lifestyle and exercise every morning and night. I also have a healthy diet with plenty of veghetables. I drink plenty of water and do not drink alcohol or smoke tobacco (although I do smoke marijuana occasionally). However, yesterday I ate a big breakfast (beef eggs and potatoes) and at lunch that same day did not have an appetite which is rare for me. I at a little bit of spinach, salsa, and chips for lunch and afterwords fel very nauseous. I went to the bathroom and had diahrea and noticed that there was bright red blood in the toilet bowl and on the toilet paper. This concerned me because I knew this could be a sign of crohns. After using the rest room the nausea went away, but came back about every hour. I have diahrea about 6 times that day, two of those times seeing blood. It felt like nausea, not sharp pains. I should also mention that about 5 weeks ago I had what I thought to be a hemroid (because it went away in about a week). But the same place I had the hemroid (the anus), is where it felt cut/soar, and where it felt the blood may be coming from. I hope that is the case. Anyway I feel fine today and ate a breakfast of potatoes and eggs, and a hearty lunch and dinner as well. (no meat). I have not yet had diahrea and I have felt fine all day.  I have also been feeling my abdomen and have felt no pain in any of the areas of my abdomen (which I know can also be an indicator of crohns). Because of my genetic risk factors, I am wondering what I should do now, and what the chances are that these are early signs of Crohns? Even a rough estimate would be wonderful

I have asked this question in other areas, and have been told to seek a medical professional, and nothing else. I realize that this is what I should do, but I am looking for more information. Since I feel fine now, I am wondering if I should wait and see if this re-occurs before I go to the doctor. I live 2 hours from the nearest doctor. What sort of thing could this be to just occur one day and completely dissapear the next?? What do you think it most likely is? ANY useful information besides telling me to get to a professional or giving me a link to wikipedia would be wonderful :)

You will have than a bout or 2 of loose bowels if it is chrons.  Sounds like you have hemoroids and that was the blood.  Get over the counter meds for that and use for awhile.  If you keep having symptoms then you would need to seek medical advise.

You probably had a virus of some sort.
