About 18 months ago i developed frequent bouts of abdominal pain and frequent liquid stool. Neither lomotil or Imodium were of any help. My pcp referred me to a gastroenterologist which did a colonoscopy w/ biopsy. He said I had UC and placed me on Asacol and Entocort. They did relieve the abdominal pain but I continued to have frequent liquid stool. Often up to 6-8 times a day but especially after a meal. So he weaned me off the asacol and entocort and placed me on colested( Colestipol) twice a day. I have to admit it has given me some relief but I must not miss a pill or I am right back to frequent liquid stool. My question is do I possibly have Habbo syndrone and is colestid similar to Questran?
