HAVE cdiff for 5th time

I have just been diagnosed with cdiff, A.  I was not on any antibiotics. My question is.. I have a very low immune system, could this be a signal that there is an underlying problem with my immune system, and it can not combat this.  Secondly,  Since I was not on any antibiotic, but had been put on morphine and several other types of pain meds in the E.R. due to pulling a muscle, and then again was put under anesthesia for cysts that I had removed in my throat, could it have been escalated from shutting my immune system down for that possibly?  Lastly, I was cdiff free for 9 months, til I got this again.  Im taking florastar  is this the best, or is align better for the condition.  Im miserable, and trying to just keep bland foods in my system.  I know that sugar makes the spores just attack, and other types of food.  The last time I had it.  my staple of foods was.  Toast, with a tad of peanut butter , with bananas on it.  Then for lunch cheetos <dont know why but my body craved it while having cdiff, and it didnt hurt the condition at all.  For supper spaghetti  with just a tad bit of marinara , and turkey meat.  We do not eat red meat in my family.  What else could I eat that will not make the cdiff spores multiply?  Thank you in advance doctor.  Sincerely, okiegal
