Throwing up coffee ground like stuff plus the fact it includes blood and mucus can mean a bowel blockage. Is she aware of that? Is she planning to put you on an immune suppressant? That is a good thing if she is but you should really be on prednisone to help get the flare up under control and your vomiting must be dealt with ASAP. If that is still happening I would go to the ER.
just seeing me every couple of weeks and doing blood tests and x rays but i still feel horrible every day since october.no im not taking any meds for anemia becausemy rbc's are usually normal i have thrown up what looks like cofee grounds what does that mean and she says i have an upper gi bleed.so what does that mean.i was on asacol but she took me off of it to see if i can take a 600 dollar medicine and she wants to see if my insurance will pay for it.but i still think it is something else when will she listen and do something else i know she sees me as a number but im a person and she doesnt seem to remember that should i seek a second opinion?
What is your doctor doing for treatment? What drugs are you taking? Are you taking iron pills for anemia? What you're saying is normal and is an active colitis flare up that requires proper medications. I am alarmed at the vomiting having blood and mucus too. You aren't throwing up anything that looks like stool or coffee grinds are you?
