Help!

So I have crohns
And I have to take remicade every 8 weeks. My mom says that if I smOke it will kill me because of the remicade. I think she just
Doesn't want me to smoke but I just want to know if it can kill me???

it won't kill you, BUT there are confirmed studies that show smoking can make your crohn's worse...and if your taking remi....it pretty much defeats the purpose if your going to smoke. its so expensive for the meds and i would try and quit and see if that helps.
i had to stop smoking when i was on remi and just never smoked again b/c when i did....i flared ALL the time!
but for some strange reason...if you have UC....smoking helps...imagine that one! LOL!
