CROHN'S DISEASE / ULCERATIVE COLITIS COMMUNITY
If my son will have a colitis?

If my son will have a colitis?

My son of 13 years recently had rectal bleeding (bright red bloody). The doctor did a colonscopy to him and the result of the biopsy is an ileal mucosa with prominent lymphoid aggregate. Also, the doctor find in the rectum: minimal erythemia with scattered aphtous ulcers.  He has the Sedimentation Rate high and the C Reactive Protein positive. Is this indicative of cronh's disease or colitis? Thanks for the answer.
