Ileostomy - approx. how long from eating a food till it passes out thru the stoma

i have a new ileostomy.  i am trying to figure out what foods cause what "product" -- watery stool, gas, etc.  However, I am not sure WHICH food(s) are causing WHICH bowel movement, i.e., approximately how long after ingesting does the food come out through the stoma?

I would keep a journal and then you will be able to see what agrees with you and what does not.  I would eat rather colorful foods and this was a telltale also as they came out the sameish(?) color. I know that any tupe of meat liquifies and digest pretty quickly.  Bananas are great to see how long they take, everyone is different.  But you really need all of the bananas vitamins and qualities!  Banana were my puches favorite!   Hope this helps!
