In pain...help?

Dear Dr.,

I'm hoping you can help me fiqure out why I am having very severe L-sided lower Ab. pain.  I also have significant cramping of the entire lower gut, between the pelvic bones.  I had a colonoscopy Monday with essentially good results.  I was not coherent till late morning the following day but do remember having very severe pain upon waking...pain that was quite gripping.  I had trouble taking a full breath and still do with bending, twisting, and/or moving/picking up things.  My husband informed me that although I had been dx with Ulcerative Colitis 3 years ago, I have no evidence of this now.  The gastro. MD told him that I do present with mild, non-symptomatic diverticulitis.  Since the procedure I have had mild, very occasional gas (much less than usual) and two very small, soft bowel movements (probably less than 8oz).  I have had 3 glasses of a fiber drink over the past few days but have not had a BM in nearly 3 days.  My usual bowel pattern is much worse than this so I am not sure if I should be concerned.  On average I go every 4-7 days but typically only after taking something.  I do not ever have any type of sharp pain, as mentioned above.  I often do however, have pelvic pain, bloating, and unexplained wt gain.  Pelvic US in the past was normal.  At this point the sharp pain is quite limiting and keeping me from normal activity and sleep.  I did not contact the Dr., as I thought this would resolve.
Can you help me?
