Urologists and doctors do  a rectal exam on men by inserting a gloved finger into a man's rectum to feel the wall of the Prostate. My Prostate was thought to be enlarged, but I have a thick Prostate wall, so I have no problems. I take Finasteride, 5-mg, once a day. My last PSA reading is 0.032 ng/dL. If your Prostate becomes a problem, the Urologist can use an ultrasound probe inserted into your rectum to view, take pictures, and a biopsy is needed.
