in November of that year. I've had various flares over the years, with the worst being the last 4 1/2 years. I've tried EVERYTHING and now laparascopic surgery is scheduled for Monday. All conventional x-rays show no strictures
or masses or ulcers, although there is moderate inflammation. 20 years ago, all conventional x-rays were normal/negative, but once they got inside, found 2 strictures
and an abscess - I'm just wondering, with all of the technological advances in the last 20 years, could the same thing be happening again? It's taken so long to get to this point, and I'm scared my surgeon won't find anything, and I'll still be left with the lower right quadrant pain and never-ending diarrhea. I'd like to know if anyone else has gone through what I'm going through and what you have done or are doing about your situation.
. Going through numerous tests & literature I suppose Science hasn't advanced enough primarily coz there are such few cases of CD. doctors are doing their best to help us...I wish you the very best for your surgery & we'll catch up after that.
