Much Pain 2 yrs after sigmoid resection

by sumo717, Aug 07, 2009 10:11AM
My son had a resection with complications about 2 yrs ago.  Since then we have been back and forth in hospitals because of extreme pain.  His pain is in the lower pelvic region both left and right.  He is constantly having loose bowel movements; feeling nauseous, and in some type of pain.  The pain continues to build until he can't take it any longer.  He recently had a colonscopy which showed nothing.  He has had CT scans; Xrays all showing nothing.   He is treated for pain in hospital and sent home with pain medication.  We typically don't make a week; before he is back in hospital with extreme pain.  We are at a loss where to go now and very frustrated.
