New Medicine?

New Medicine?

I was finally diagnosed with Crohns this past Christmas after having severe abdominal cramps and constant diahrea for about six years. My pediatrician kept telling me I was stressed until blood started showing up in my stool. Needless to say I changed doctors.  After going on the medicine she started me on, I went for about a month and a half with no symptoms but since my flare up the symptoms have not gone away and its been about a month.  My GI doctor suggested Humira, but some of the side effects it could cause I already have, like tingling and numbness, and shortness of breath because I also have IST a form of Dysautonomia. The doctor said that the Crohns hasnt progressed into a serious case yet and that if I wanted to wait before changing treatments I could. She is woried though because I am losing weight while exercising and eating at least 5000 calories a day.  Im not sure if I want to go up to Humira because of some of the side effects I might be predisposed to have. So Im looking for opinions.
