Not crohns whnt is it???

My fiance has a history of crohns disease (15yrs), but lately she has been having a constant sharp stabing pain in her upper abdomen. She also has nausea and vomiting whether she eats or not. Most of the time the pain and nausea get worse after she eats or drinks. She has had this pain for 7 months now. She has done every test possible for her crohns and it is showing negative for everything. All her docs are saying it is NOT her crohns acting up, but they cannot figure out what is causing the pain or where is it coming from. She has already had 2 stomach surgeries for her crohns. A total of 37cm removed from her intestines. She has no adhesions at all. She is taking pain medication but it is not helping. Can you help please???

I started having bad abdominal pain and vomitting 4 months ago the doctors tried every test and every xray know to man and could not find anything so they took out my gall bladder and still no better so they tried a colonoscopy which landed me in the hospital for 4 days where they had to feed through an IV.  That was the only time I felt good. So they sent me to another doctor that specializes in SOD (sphincter of Oddi disfunction) and he thinks that is what is wrong with me.  But can not be sure until they do an ERCP which has alot of complications so he is trying me on some GI muscle relaxers and antidepressants.  They helped for about one week and then the vomitting and pain came back so they are trying to up my dosages. But I know what it is like to be sick every day just wanting some relief.  I am a 36year old male but my doctor said that SOD is real common in women and they don't see it as much in males.

If she has had abdominal ultrasounds it will have ruled out gallbladder stones but an ultrasound doesn't indicate if your gallbladder is not functioning.  She might want to ask for a HIDA scan to test that.
