Post surgery resection

I had surgery june 1st 8 th resection had some complications stayed in hospital 20 days been home 3 wks had total direherra to now very hard stools that dont come but once a day one time. I have incrediable right side pain that will not subside unless I take some pain med which I take only half of what im suposed too. Anyone with ideas please I really dont want to go back to hospital

Hi,passing very hard stools can cause alot of pain maybe you should try a stool softener just a little to start and see if that helps any.I also have bowel problems constipation,only when i take the stool softener does the pain ease off.Also if that dosent help you should see your doctor.
