Pregnant w/crohns

2yrs ago I was diagnoised w/chrohns, i am currently 28y/o and i am 5wks into my pregnancy, I'm worried! When i found out I'm pg the 1st thing that i did was stop taking my meds ASAP all my meds say "DO NOT TAKE IF PREGNANT" so i stopped them completely. Then i thought to myself how do i deal with crohns and being pg at the same time??? I have scheduled appointments to go see my GI and my GYN but til then i dnt knw how to deal with the pain or many other symtoms (symptoms) of crohns and being pg, anybody have any suggestions???

Well I'm unsure if this will help you at all or not since I have Colitis with possible Chrons as well. At any rate I have the option of treating from both ends using Pentasa enema as well. Now I'm unsure if you can do the same with Chrons but I use nothing extra for my suspected Chrons. This method puts nothing in the blood stream as it's administered from below and designed to coat the affected area from the Rectum up as far SpenicFlexure. So I'm unsure where your Chrons is located or if this will help your situation in any way but it won't affect your fetus. Good Luck.
