Rectal Pain, but no rectum

I have been having rectal pain for several months now.  The only problem is, I no longer have a rectum.  I had surgery for my Crohn's Disease and chronic fistula's about 3 years ago. The pain in my rectum however is getting more persistant and intense.  Nothing is visable and I feel nothing when I push around in the area.  What could be going on?

I have had a similar problem. Pain and pressure in rectal area, no rectum. I had an illeostomy 36 years ago, and no challenges until a year ago with this pain/pressure.
I have had 2 MRIs, CT scan, removal of a small fistula, No Relief. Was sent to a neurologist, still no relief. I would love for anyone to have a solution for this.

What kind of surgery did you have?  Did they create a pouch or do you have a colostomy?
