Remicade for Chrons

Remicade for Chrons

My boyfriend has chrons really bad and has been put on remicade.  After he has ejaculated (this has only happened once) there was a tiny amount of blood at the very end.  Ive looked all over the internet to see if this is a common side effect but I havent found anything.  All Ive read is it could be an std or injury.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps. He's only been on remicade for a couple of weeks.

Have you discuss with your doctor to see if he is suffering from prostatitis! Does he has any strange feel among his low abdomen and groinHave you visited any GP. Otherwise, go to consult urological doctor. Hope this can give you a hand.
Get well soon!!

He has no pain anywhere what so ever.  And it hasnt happened again, it's only happened the once.  So I was totally paranoid and freaking out about it but now Im not sure if I should even be worried.

Interesting question.  I haven't checked my boyfriend for blood in semen but I will.  My boyfriend is on Remicade for Crohn's as well, my concern/question, is if anyone knows if the remicade is transferrable through his semen to me?  I've been getting cold after cold since we started dating a few months ago...and I NEVER get sick.  I've called the company, but they only say it hasn't been tested and they 'think' it doesn't transfer...no help there.  It seems logical that it could transfer since other blood elements transfer thru semen...any ideas?  Thanks!
