Remicade for Crohns
I am a 65 year old female in pretty good health otherwise but have Crohns.  In July of 2011 I had a total colectomy and had no problems for 11 months following surgery.  In June of this year I had a major flare up with Crohns in my rectum.  Dispite being on prednisone for more than a month with only some relief my doctor has now decided I should start Remicade.  Has anyone in a similar situation taken Remicade and what have been the short term or long term results?  Any conversation would be welcome.

My grandma takes remicade and it has really helped her out. She is 75 and struggled with crohn's for years.
