Salofalk

Hello all, I am currently taking asacol 3 400mg x 3 = 3.6g daily and i will switch to Salofalk because of economic issues, does anyone knows the equivalency of salofalk to asacol for Crohn's?

Hi!
If you are taking asacol 3 400mg x 3 = 3.6g daily, then you need to take the same dose of salofalk as they are both mesalazine or mesalamine. However, some people for unknown reasons do not experience the same benefits and symptom control and may need some dose adjustment. Please discuss with your doctor before making the swich. Hope this helps. Take care!
