Longs story short, I have been trying to get answers from Dr's for over 2 years now. I do have a cousin with Crohn's, so that's why I thought it may possible that is what I have. I have diarreah (diarrhea) up to 12 times a day, even with medication, it is still happening 6-8 times a day. I was seen at the Mayo in Rochester for 6 months of testing to no avail. At the end of the 6 months, they wanted to run the tests all over again, but i couldn't keep taking off of work. They did discover that my pancreas is functioning 10% below average, I have a new heart murmur
that won't go away under my left arm, which they said was due to my body fighting an unknown infection. They were never able to get fluid from my small intestine to test because I go so much.
Fast forward 6 months later.....I now run low grade fevers
frequently, I am extremely tired all of the time, I am sick all ot the time with colds and coughs and such. I feel like I don't have a working immune system. The latest scary thing is the reaction
that I get from alcohol. A couple of months ago, I had just 2 wine coolers, as I don't drink beer. Went home and everything was fine. All of a sudden, I got a piercing pain in my right side and started violently throwing up and haveing watery diarreah (diarrhea) for the next 4 hours. Then I felt perfectly fine. Didn't try that again for a while. Then last night, I was at out church fish fry and had a drink........almost immediatly piercing right sided pain....so bad that I went home to lay down in the fetal
position. I am wondering if this is relate to Crohns at all, or is this a whole differant animal that I may be dealing with? On an unrelated note, I also get pain in my left arm, and have chest pressure as well off and on....
Thanks so much for any information that you may have!

Hi; I know how you feel being undiagnosed.... Have you had your gallbladder checked ?? That can cause pain in your shoulder.. I have had my gallbladder out 10 yrs ago and have had problems eversince,..I'm waiting to get my biobsy back from colonoscopy and endoscopy..Monday I should know if i have chrohn's or not? Have you been to a gastrologist and had the IgA and Panca levels checked? Mine came out positive IgA(ASCA) and neg Panca which it says is 80% for chrohns and I have high sed rate. The Gastro doc saw inflammation in small intestines but was quick in saying probally IBS. I'll wait for the biobsy to see,,. Have you had a colonoscopy or cat scan of abdomen?? I wonder because I do not have the major diaherrea but alternate between diaherrea and feeling the urge. Do you have mucus or oily looking on the water after bowel movement.. I just started having floating stools and oily film. I wish you luck that you get an answer soon.. Please keep in touch
