I was diagnosed with Ulcer a week ago when I went to see a doctor after I had blood coming in my stool. I had been complaining of severe stomach ache and pain for a week before that too. Now it bleeded an entire week and now all of a sudden it has stopped although I refused to take medications. The pain is still there and so is the nausea and everything. Should I be scared?
Reduction in bleeding does not necessarily mean that the ulcer has healed. I would suggest following the management plan suggested by your treating doctor and then seeking a review after a few weeks to check for healing progress.
Hope this is helpful.
