bowl resection, and complications

i have had a large bowl resection and my colostomy reversed. I have had blood in my stool for last two days, and have been going alot. wondering if this is normal or should i seek medical help. I have no fever, and minal pain as I am three weeks post surgery.

Hi there!

Well, without the relevant clinical details it would be difficult to comment on if your symptoms are expected/ normal or would require medical attention. If the surgery has been recent, some blood may be expected in stools also stools would be preferred to be lose. However if the blood is significant or and the symptoms are recent, I would suggest seeking a review with your treating doctor.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
