can colitis cause itching inside the body and pain

Hi again I was just wondering if any one knows if colitis can cause itching inside the body along with pain the itching travels its in the stomache ,legs ,armpit,chest it feels like something moving around itching inside than if feels like the blood isnt flowing that something is there blocking please dont think im crazy but anyway its my mom  she is a mess please help if you can thank you.alwayswithme.

I don't have UC but my sister does.  She does not mention this as a problem.  Your mom needs to see the GI dr and find out what is happening.

Has she had her gall bladder removed? Itching can be caused by Cirrohsis of the liber...primary bilary cirrohsis.

This is a chronic illness. My sister has been tentatively diagnosed w/ this but has never had her gall bladder removed.

This needs to be treated as soon as possible to maintain a healthy life.

Ultimately, a liver transplant is usually needed.

A GI is a Gastro Intestinal Doctor. He is a medical doctor dealing with the systems and organs of the body dealing with digestion.
