Before saying you have Crohn's/UC, the docs want to exclude (rule out) the chance that it's really something else.
If you have an infection/parasite, then that's probably what's making you sick ... not Crohns/UC (which are more like disorders of the immune system ... though if you were REALLY unlucky you could have an infection on top of Crohn's/UC.).
I can't say exactly what your biopsy meant because you didn't give the full sentence/context >.<
It could have said they DID exclude infection/parasite or that they COULDN'T exclude infection/parasite.
