defecate back in stomach after operation

Help!
My husband is January 25 2010 operated on crohn. The operation went well, no stoma, beautiful scar. Only he is soooo sick, stomach ache so much. Many throw ups "green sludge" (gastric juice). He has given a stomach tube  after 8 days and yesterday received a feeding tube. Now the "green sludgr"  is beige brown and smells like poop. The probe is (in X) well placed past the stomach into the small intestine. He does have some relief that smells the same , like his belch. No doctor in the hospital knows what's going on. Now for 11 Days he received no food inside and nobody can tell us why this rubbish comes back out of his mouth. All doctors and nurses say: do not get it either,  we have to wait , i don't know.... :The  uncertainty makes me MAD. What happened and who can tell me how this happened..... And above all HOW TO SOLVE.      Nicole: (
