did prednisolone do this to you

Tuesday night i was taking into hospital as my body was getting bad side effects from the pred, whilst there i was put onto a drip as i got dehydrated. they done blood tests and x-ray scans and were worried my appendix [sp] had to be removed [which it didn't] I've been feeling unwell for a while now and then getting pressure behind my right eye,headaches,stomach aches and constipation. Tuesday i suffered from a headache really bad and then as the day past i got hotter and hotter it kind of felt like a fever, i then found i was unable to pass i stool which gave me bad stomach cramps,i found the NHS hotline who then advised me to go to hospital. whilst there they gave me laxatives which made me feel so much better i stopped feeling hot as soon as i was able to pass stools again. the headache was due to me being dehydrated. The blood tests shown that my white blood cells were lower than before so the inflammation has gone 'down'. So their diagnosis was that it's the steroid side effects, I'm seeing the GI doctore on Wednesday 5Th and they've booked for me to see a IBD specialist nurse. they've given me laxatives to take home in case i get constipated again....which i hope i don't.

tuesday -headache,high temperature,stomache pains, constipation,took laxatives had diaahrea

wednesday- random pains in navel and bottom right of stomach only last seconds but kept coming and going, thin stool,light headache

thursday - same pains in stomache, thin stool with bright red blood on stool and on tissue

friday- it's only 12 mid day here and i've been toilet once with diaahrea,didn't see no blood.Haven't had the pain in my stomach either...yet.

is this normal with pred.....o.0
