don't know what to do next

I went through some real strong meds for 8 months It looked like battery acid put in my colon it was so bad.. No change and so doctor removed all my colon except 4 inches and attached it to my rectum. I was having spams but I went through so many test and couldn't find nothing. 16 months later I had another colon test and where it was connected has constricted to the size of a pencil now. Doctor took biopies but she couldn't see has far as she wanted to. Don't know if it is scar tissue or ulcerative colitis was in the 4 inchs that was left. I had problems with my stomach 8 years ago but the medicane my doctor made it stop so didn't know nothing was wrong.Doctor said we would talk when I go back. I don't want this ulcerative colitis to turn into cancer and so I don't know what to do.
